It was from a golden few months, UI-wise. Wasn't it roughly from the same period of Vista Beta 1? ie, the greatest look a Windows OS has ever had?
I wonder who they had in the design team? And if it was different from who they had before and after...
Office 2013 beta doesnt work on Win 8 so that could be reason....
I remember that, it was so annoying trying to get the beta to work in Windows 8...But was it beta or alpha? I remember the Consumer Preview ran fine in Windows 8 (was it CP or RC)?
