I would say a public beta.

That's not a leak at all. A leak means something that is (more or less) publicly available but it wasn't suppose to be. Public beta is meant to be public (if you haven't noticed yet)...

Perhaps the original guy who meant an intentional leak that was done by Microsoft with purpose.

And maybe AlphaBeta meant a public beta that was leaked (eg. a build Microsoft originally intended for the public, but it was leaked earlier than what Microsoft said it would be released).

Obviously a public beta released by Microsoft is not a leak.
