Download speed is too slow.

Hello again. Well, my download speed used to be at between 200-300 kb. However, since then, my download speed is completely slow. I guess OpenDNS is causing the issue; but when I tried to change back to my default DNS server, it made no difference at all. I tried to flush my DNS cache, I tried to relock my IP address and I even tried to clean out using CCLeaner. Yet, its still slow. Can anyone help me? Here are a few other questions I have as well:

1) If I upload an abandonware product to BA's upload server, (lets say NetWare 3.11) will that slow down my download speed? Does that also cause the ISP to find out I'm illegally uploading abandoned operating systems (highly unlikely to me since BA is using SSL) and slow down my FTP download speed?

2) Is the BA's server to be blamed? It used to be fast enough for me to complete in 30 minutes. Now its slow like a slug.

3) FileZilla reports this:
Error: GnuTLS error -110 in gnutls_record_recv: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated.
Error: Could not read from socket: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted
Error: Disconnected from server

What is going on with the servers?

4) My ISP is CenturyLink: they are usually fast. But how could they be slow in ftp downloading? Browsing on the web was normal for me.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Sorry for the double post, but something is wrong with my browser!
