Windows 8 DWM glass and blur

So I found a tool that patches the DWM file in windows 8, and it seems to bring back blur and transparency without glitching.

But what i'd like to know is (if anyone knows), is it possible to port the Windows 7 theme over to Windows 8? Like by editing the msstyles file.

I have tried editing the msstyles file before and it screwed up the Metro UI.

Im just wondering if it would be possible to get windows 8 looking like windows 7.
