Hybrid SDD + HDD issue

any of you guys know who to make a HDD drive to become bootable when the SSD dies? I'm Asking because I've got an ultrabook from Asus which came with a SSD of 24 GB + a HDD of 500GB, on the EFI/Bios it only have as boot option the SSD but in case the SSD decided to die on me and i Would like to run any OS from the HDD. in the EFI/BIOS i can't select the HDD to make bootable so i'm stuck.

Any Ideas?
