those people who use Itanium still do it because they appreciate the hardware and they like to tinker. That one I highly doubt. Itanium is only used in HP's legacy systems anymore, run be people who don't want to spend money migrating to Linux. It's not appreciation and curiosity that keeps Itanium alive, it's not wanting to acknowledge that they bet on the wrong horse...
I think you may be correct for most other people. However, I was speaking for myself.
