I actually have one of these. Bought it from a friend for next to nothing. On paper, the specs were decent by 2009 standards, but they're laughable today. Mine is literally sitting on my dresser collecting dust; it's painful to use. Android 2.x was alright for use on phones a few years back, but as a tablet OS, it's unbearable. The screen on the tablet is one of the worst that I've seen. It's got really bad viewing angles and color reproduction; the digitizer is extremely inaccurate. To cap it off, the battery life is horrible. In standby with all the radios turned off, it might last a day, whereas my Kindle Fire (rooted, with Android 4.1) with moderate use and WiFi on can easily get two days. Don't waste your money on one of these. As far as any updates, that I can't help you with. Mine came with Android 2.2 already installed. The most I've done past that was rooting it.
