My wishlist for Windows 9

Here's my personal wishlist for Windows 9:

1. Me to MS: Don't call it Windows 9! It's quite lame, going from 7 to 8, and now 9? Please, call it something else. Like you done to XP and Vista!

2. One desktop, full stop. What we want is just a single desktop, and NO start screen. However, the Start screen looks nice and has some handy apps, so therefore, MS need to merge them together, something like 'Desktro'. A mix of Metro/Start screen and the regular desktop. What I mean is that the desktop, should have all icons being colourful Metro-style, including Metro font. And that small menu you get in Windows 8 when you go to the top-right of the screen, that should be displayed (along with other options) the whole time as a replacement of where Sidebar/Gadgets used to be.

3. Get back the Start button, but not in the way it was before (I doubt MS will do anyway). Rather, we'd click the Start button to access all the Metro apps. It should be a quite large menu, but not a full screen like the Start screen of the present.

4. Make the notifications bar appear like XP. It's a lot quicker and handy on XP and Vista. 7's sucks.

5. Make pinned programs appear seperate, on the right, like XP. Again, something that XP/Vista benefited of.

6. Create new icons. I guess because of the major move to Metro, we need new icons for Computer, Documents etc.

7. Create a completely new sound scheme, where all sounds are new or Windows 8-exclusive. This will make Windows 9 very dependable very much the way XP was.

8. Make a seperate edition for tablets. Oops, I just said we need one desktop, 'Desktro'. Well, that only applies for PCs. MS should have a seperate 'Tablet PC Edition', like XP had, for tablets. This edition should have the Start screen as normal.

9. Promote other MS products to the user. For example, having built-in features like Bing Desktop or Outlook.com.

10. Turn the whole OS into a full Metro-style system. What I mean is to remove most traces of Aero, and turn it into Metro. Many have already been done for Windows 8, now just the remaining left. Remember, it's a new 'Metro' era for MS as a company, so they should promote and activate Metro as much as they can. It looks gorgeous, so does my new Nokia Lumia 620, which runs Windows Phone.

What do you guys think about my views?
