Windows 98 works, but ends Our testing of beta versions of the new Windows 98 for several weeks proved its stability. However, for Microsoft it's the last product from the 9x line. Do not worry: Windows NT 5.0 is coming and Microsoft not only puts high hopes on it, but also sees its future in it. It's not as hot as it seems though: both systems converge, which means soon the only difference between them should be the name. I can recommend just one thing to a Czech user who is still confused from loosing DOS: get interested in software what you need, and it'll choose the operating system //
Coming to 1998

Windows 98 is coming
Microsoft brought its art of marketing to perfection - who has ever seen selling a beta version of a product? Still, from the last day of February users from all around the world can buy the third beta of Windows 98 for $21.35, which is about one place lower than complete Windows 95. It isn't known that it's some kind of a "do it yourself" kit, which for expample Ikea applies with its furniture; users of Windows 98 will have to buy the final version, not to program it. In Europe Windows 98 will be massively introduced on the CeBIT expo and the same version will cost 39 Deutsche Marks*. We weren't able to officialy find out how much will this beta cost in Czech Republic and if it will even be sold, but rumors say it will.
*that's about 19.94⬠or $25.82
Do you know which build it was?

If you think it's tl;dr then your bad I've got some articles about Office beta's, too, so if you are interested I can post them. Tommorow I'll post a longer article only about Microsoft Windows NT 5 Server Beta 2 Build 1877.
