Have a look at your setup-logs - they should tell you what's going wrong.

(I know, this is for Office 03-10 but maybe it can help a little bit)

Maybe worth a try:
- Open Registry Editor from the Run window.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows NT > CurrentVersion > AppCompatFlags.
- Now back up AppCompatFlags key and delete it.
- Now run your Office 2013 installation file once again.
