Andy, I saw in another post you were talking to give access to FTP for newbies with 0 posts. I take the audacity to suggest that in fact the requirement is 3 post approved, a requirement that is already in use, to avoid exposing the FTP login details to anyone who registers. This would also be useful to be uploaded directly to FTP contributions to reach advanced member.
Given the relaxation of requirements, and it is difficult to reach the 750 posts to be a VIP member, and being unable to donate due to lack of international credit card (PayPal requirement) I think we must find an alternative way to donate, as well as to reduce the amount of 750 posts to some more accessible, so would avoid posting useless replies and bumping their post count.
Perhaps you could give a bonus of 10, 25 or 50 posts per application, operating system, etc., to which upload something to the FTP, (after it is approved). This would encourage the uploading files to FTP well identified and add applications that are not today.
