What we got ? NOTHING.

Windows 8 is OS for Touch Screens ! PC dont have touch screens ! What is Metro ?

Metro is just Desktop no 2. Metro is most stupid thing which I ever seen.

So:

- No Start Menu (Metro is not better for manage applications)

- Stupid themes which look worse than Windows 3.11

- no big changes ! what we really got ? RAM utilization ,that is all ! Why Windows 8 use lower resources ? Bcs Tablets dont have PC Power and Battery.

- why the hell anyone use Windows 8 ? In my opinion only bcs is "newer"

No real gain performance in Games (same FPS )

We only got faster boot ,which is not important in SSD era . Even I turn on PC once at week.

Windows 8 is great OS for TABLETS. I dont like tablets, for me they are useless. What you can do with tablet ? To surf on internet, watch movies and reedit some Office documents. This even can be done with Android phone.

Tablets use people which dont know what to use. Laptop are "big" ,phone are "small" so here is tablet.

Well I am PC user 12 years and I never will use tablet OS. Never. Maybe will try Developer Edition with Start Menu and Metro removed + Aero Theme.

If Microsoft release Windows 9 and than limit Direct X 12 only to Win 9 ,I will use LINUX.

I am not XP lover ,but a lot people still will use it ,but Microsoft Market do funny stuff. They use Direct X to people use new platform. Put Direct X 10/11 on Win XP and a lot people never will try Vista/7/8.

This is my opinion.

1. Some PCs DO have touch screens. Did you think of the all-in-ones?

2. I do agree with the managing applications part. Finding desktop applications in Windows 8 is a complete nightmare.

3. Can't understand what you mean by Microsoft Market doing DirectX funny stuff though.
