There are some betas for ia64 on our ftp, so I keep wondering if it is possible to test Windows for ia64 in a virtual machine, without any real itanium hardware available.
I know that Simics has ia64 emulation, but it is kind of complicated to manipulate, and it is said to support only Linux on ia64 virtual machines. Is there any other software, like qemu, that can achieve this?
