Hello developers!
Finally I did it!
I made fully functional OpenNT server!
At first I cleaned my source, added some more code, edited a lot.
I changed build to 4.51.1401.500, and built a clear fre build.
So now about what changed since build 4.50.1400.481:
* No original old (2004 leak) source was used.
* Most source from old-src, some mine own, only IIS was taken from original Windows NT 4.0 Server CD
* Now workstation can join to domain. It's possibly to select at startup where log on: domain or local machine, if domain is set in network settings
* Now you could use same cd key for workstation and server, both uses ID 50370. So for both versions you can use server keys, like 111-1111111.
* You can install IIS in auto-mode during setup
* Server now is fully working
* Server can act as primary or backup domain controller. Here are some videos, how to setup the domain https://cloud.mail.ru/public/gpYV/VApqXQq8F/Etc/Domain/
* Server release now includes tools to manage domain http://www.betaarchive.com/imageupload/2016-01/1452101690.th.73172.png
* Embedded version is pre-alpha. It uses the Target Designer fron NTe 4.0
* Due compatibility reasons Target Designer can't run on OpenNT, you must use Windows NT4 or 2000 (not tested), I'm planning to release my own Target Designer.
* The embedded version doesn't work. Image boots, kernel loads, and system halts due problem in winlogon.
* Embedded is based on Server release, in new release will be possible to run it like server and even domain controller.
* Embedded version includes it's own version of explorer.exe it includes some additional bitmaps like
* Target Designer need Windows NT4 sp5 or sp6 or sp6a and IE 5.5 or 6

I'll ask Stephanos about making you a developer for OpenNT. You don't have to do it as a full-time job, Just feel free to chime in some bug fixes and other small things.

OK. Have you tried my releases? What do you think about them?

The newer release is more stable than the old releases, I'd say.

EDIT: I don't know what's going on with the OpenNT website. I'll host a mirror SVN soon.

i'm lost by now

what are you guys even doing at the end ?

Quite frankly, I'm lost too. All of us have separate projects we're working on so it's hard to keep up.

It's mostly hearsay that NT 6.0 was Odyssey at one point;
Aren't there documents from Comes vs Microsoft that states it was NT 6?

Haven't noticed that yet. I shall look, but still not noticing any NT6 stuff.

~Where I found it. Although actually I don't think it does say Odyssey=NT 6

Although I could have sworn I saw a photocopied document stating Odyssey as NT 6 somewhere on BetaArchive or Wikipedia...

NT 4 source compiled. But what does it mean? Are there any exciting developments you have/can make? Have you not just made NT 4 that we had already? I'm assuming you intend to modify and improve the OS once you get it in a working state from what source you have.

I'm not exactly sure what you have so far achieved or what you intend to achieve. I'm very interested to know, but your site appears down at the moment. I'd love to assist, but I don't have a clue when it comes to what actually goes on behind the OS. I can fix a broken OS, but not make one or build on one. I am however trying this out if anyone is interested. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/601519/windows-nt-on-ps2-help/

(As soon as I found out NT 4 was available for MIPS, I immediately thought "hey, you could run it on the PS2!")

I you are still wondering I tried an old version of VMWare tools on Neptune and it worked fine. I think it was version 7. There was a page somewhere with a list of downloads for the old versions but I no longer know where...
